At one of the country's largest and most prestigious valuation firms, Ben Bershad rose through the ranks from Analyst to Managing Director, before setting out to start his own firm. For nearly two decades, Ben has built a reputation as a creative problem solver and honest broker, providing business valuation, litigation support, and financial consulting services in family law and commercial litigation matters. 

Benjamin Bershad obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with High Distinction. Ben is accredited in business valuation by the AICPA and is a Certified Valuation Analyst by the NACVA.

​Ben was a contributing editor of Business Valuation, published by the Law Journal Press, a division of ALM Media Properties, LLC. He regularly presents seminars to attorneys, judges, accountants, and valuation experts on the topics of business valuation and income available for spousal and child support. Ben has published several articles on business valuation, spousal and child support, a financial expert’s role in the discovery process, and other related topics. Ben has also guest-lectured on various business valuation and dispute topics to law and business students at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University.

​In 2008, Ben was selected from hundreds of candidates to be the annual recipient of the NACVA’s Jeffrey R. Salins Report Writing Award.

When not at work, Ben can be found achieving Zen in his woodshop and perfecting high-cholesterol ice cream recipes with his family.
