Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the bershadvaluation.com website, the Bershad Valuation Consulting client portal, and BVC's internal software connections, including its connection to its own QuickBooks Online company (together, the "Services"). The Services are provided by Bershad Valuation Consulting LLC ("BVC") for its own business and for its clients. They are not offered for sale or licensed to third parties.
Client portal access
Portal access is by invitation only and is personal to each invited user. Do not share your sign-in or verification codes. BVC may change or withdraw access at any time, including when an engagement ends.
Confidential materials
Materials made available through the portal are confidential to the engagement. They may be used and shared only as permitted by your engagement agreement, your counsel's instructions, and any applicable court order or protective order.
No advice outside an engagement
Nothing on this website or in the portal is legal, tax, accounting or investment advice except as provided under a signed engagement agreement with BVC. If these terms conflict with your engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.
Billing information
Balances and invoices shown in the portal come from BVC's accounting records and are provided for convenience. The invoice issued to you is the controlling record. Payment links, where offered, are processed by Intuit QuickBooks under Intuit's terms; BVC does not receive or store your card or bank details.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access accounts, engagements or files that were not shared with you, interfere with the Services, or use automated means to access them.
Disclaimer and limitation
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, BVC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Services. This does not limit any obligation BVC has under an engagement agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
